I'm Super excited because I just found out that Penelope Umbrico will be one of the visiting artists that I'll have a chance to meet - she's replacing Siobhan Liddell who sadly can't make it. Check out her work: http://www.penelopeumbrico.net/
My finger isn't healing very quickly so I've been busy planning an homage to Newton and Kepler. It might be incorporated into the Goodness project just as the Sunsets might. More on that later...
Bad news for the Sunset painting. The varnish I used yellowed a great deal in certain spots and therefore the painting (which I was calling a prototype) is ruined. However, I've since tested several varnishes on top of several different surfaces and have found one or two that will work. Test Strip below.
Also, I've added exponential growth and decay to the goodness project though I'm not sure the best way to put the project on the www. Ill take suggestions if anyone has them. It's a growing project. Anyways, I needed to add the growth/decay because the implants grow and e. So many possibilities. They must be narrowed down.
UPDATE: the yellow is fading!! thanks UV
