I will be showing this piece from my Sunset series:

New Painting for the White Sunset project. It's a sunset as seen through a mesquite tree with a quail in it.

This is what was up in my studio. I'm working on a new white sunset painting right now, but it's taking longer than I wanted because I have a broken finger on my dominant hand.
tree parts + wind + city trash bin that doesn't like to stay open = broken finger

It's going to get a coat of iridescent medium and a shiny top coat.

This reminds me of the video the art teacher showed in Ghost World. "Mirror, Father, Mirror"
